Milan Koch’s work Territorium focuses on tensions in urban coexistence. Every day, thousands of realities of life meet and contrast with each other, one stimulus replaces the next. In order to cope with this living environment, people choose familiar paths and surround themselves with what is already known. Not every trail into the unknown is followed. Milan Koch’s work overcomes these comfort zones and documents the traces that the city and its inhabitants leave behind. The urban space with all its actors is captured unfiltered and authentically in snapshots. Territory is a contemporary document of a space that is permanently in a state of upheaval.
